SPECIAL OFFER – 10% OFF NDC MEAT ANALYSER

SPECIAL OFFER – 10% OFF NDC MEAT ANALYSER on
orders placed before 31st March 2013

In-House Analysis of Meat that you can “Steak” your reputation on

meat analyzer with border

Bringing the measurement of Fat, Moisture, Protein, Collagen or C/P Beffe, in-house for raw material control through to further processing, is key to achieving improvements in both product quality and process profitability.

The NDC InfraLab Provides a Lower Cost of Ownership

  • The InfraLab is a fast, accurate, process operator-friendly, bench-top NIR analyser that can help you meet the performance objectives demanded of it whilst reducing the costs of use and maintenance.
  • A small improvement of 1-2% accuracy in Fat measurement will often lead to the InfraLab paying for itself in < 1 year.
  • The InfraLab Analyser is available in 3 pre-calibrated versions for the measurement of meat products (Fat only / Fat, Moisture and Protein / Fat, Moisture, Protein and Collagen) and the low cost of ownership is realised through its “fit-for-purpose” user-maintainable design and application.
  • The InfraLab has been independently tested by SGS Laboratories against AOAC official methods; they found no statistical differences in the measurement, resulting in Aus-Meat approval
    (Australian National Accreditation Standards).

Why the NDC InfraLab e-Series?

  • Reliability – process operators quickly gain confidence in using the InfraLab
  • Pre-Calibration – can be used immediately “out of the box”
  • Fast – measurements in only 10 seconds
  • Robust – designed to be used 24/7, with consumable components having a 5 year Warranty

Measurement Validation – is easy using the inclusive InfraLab Manager

spreadsheet-driven software.

SAVE 10% OF YOUR CIP CHEMICAL USE BY CHOOSING YOKOGAWA CONDUCTIVITY TRANSMITTERS

SC450Understanding exactly what is going on when diluting Chemicals for CIP applications in your process will help you save 10% or more of the chemicals you are using – which of course has the added benefit of not needing to be treated as waste in your effluent system saving you further money.

Current methods for measuring concentration of  1 to 3%  NaOH Caustic and  HNO3  Nitric Acid solutions especially at elevated temperatures typically 60 to 80 degC ,  lead to 10%  more chemical being utilised than is required to clean the process .

With the correct selection of Temperature Compensation , we will save you 10% of your chemical use and we will be delighted to call and show you how.

Our Yokogawa Sc450 and Flexa Series of process Conductivity/Concentration meters have the most advanced built in temperature compensation curves available for your CIP activities.

  • Unique touch screen operation and easy operation and calibration screens

  • Enhanced diagnostics, process trending graphics and on-screen logbook for data storage

  • Two mA-outputs and four SPDT relay contacts with display indicators

  • Hart® Communications

  • FM Class 1, Div.2, Group ABCD, T6 for Ta-20 to 55°C

  • IP66/NEMA4X 1/2 DIN enclosure for Field Mounting and Panel Mounting

  • Advanced Process Temperature Compensation

  • Cell fouling monitoring

Many people’s job functions now require them to  make Electrical Power Measurements on the products their company produces and sells. However, the Engineers or Technicians that need to make these Power Measurements may not be experts in the field or may need a refresher course. This Webinar will provide attendees with Solutions and Education for making Electrical Power Measurements. Topics include DC and AC Power Measurements, Single Phase and Three Phase, 2 & 3 Wattmeter method, Power Factor measurements and some practical applications. We will cover the use of a Precision Power Analyzer and the Do’s and Don’ts of using a Digital Oscilloscope for making these measurements.

Bill Gatheridge, Power Meters Product Manager, Yokogawa

Presenter

Bill is responsible for the Power Analyzer product line as well as other measuring instruments. He has over 20 years experience with Yokogawa in the area of precision electrical power measurements. Bill has been running both live and On-Line seminars on various power measurement topics and applications for over 10 years. He is a member and Vice Chairman of the ASME PTC19.6 committee on Electrical Power Measurements for Utility Power Plant Performance Testing. He is also a member of the RTCA/DO-160 committee for Aircraft Power Testing, and has worked with an ASHRAE committee on variable speed drive testing.
